Practice the Japanese Martial Art Aikido.

  

Ukrainian children and adults are welcome to try and/or practice aikido at Minnano Aikidoklubb.

 

You who have applied for protection in Sweden may train without paying a training fee during spring semester 2024.

 

Aikido is a martial art without competition where only defense is taught and where everyone practices with everyone.

 

The form of training is adapted for all ages and physical conditions, and focuses on developing both physical and mental skills to handle different types of conflict situations. The objective is to achieve harmony and understanding.

 

No prior knowledge or special equipment is required to practice.

 

When & How?
Adults and children from 13 years: Tuesdays or Thursdays at 18.30-20.00.

Children 8-12 years: Thursdays at 17.30-18.20


The class is held in Swedish but if required we will talk English.


Wear soft clothes – long trousers and a long-sleeved shirt. We practice barefoot. There are changing rooms and showers.

  

Aikido

Aikido a form of training in budo and martial arts. Aikido is also an art form. Martial arts, self-defense and beauty in a magical combination.


Aikido was founded by master Morihei Ueshiba who practiced many Japanese martial arts. In the middle of the 20th century, he named his new discipline aikido. Ai for unification or interaction, Ki for the will, power and energy of the universe and Do for the ability, path or choice of life.
